Adding device to Garmin Connect (Modern)

I've updated to the "modern" version of Garmin Connect and installed Garmin Express. I've added my Etrex 30 on Garmin Express but under the "device" tab on Garmin Connect it still says "You have no device on Garmin Connect. Add a device using Garmin Express." At the moment I'm unable to upload activities from my device.

thats really annoying. i have been waiting for them to fix it so my Etrex 30 will work with Garmin connect. wtf!!!

You have to remember that Garmin Connect is a 'fitness' site, and Garmin's priority has been to get all their 'fitness' products working with the modern interface. Some of their other products do work with GC and others might get added. If you need to know for sure then ask Garmin Support or as this is a Garmin Express issue, then post in the Garmin Express sub-forum where Garmin reps seem to be monitoring and answering some of the posts there.

Same Problem

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, I've tried removing everything and starting again but it still only seems to show one device on Connect.

I shifted from a 610 to 620. The same issue while both devices show on the Garmin express .. the Connect only recognizes my old 610. I tried removing the 610 but that does not work. Guess will have to create a new Garmin connect account to recognize the 620 but that means I will have to build my connections all over again. What a pain

I'd suggest raising this issue in the Express forum as the Garmin team there may be able to help.
