Segments, Help Please

Hello All,

I've a taken an existing ride and made a segment from it, which worked fine - When I click on segments I see this segment has been created.

Now when I view the ride that I made the segment from I get this message - 'This activity did not cross any favorite segments.'. Shouldn't it be part of that segment?

New to Garmin so I'm probably doing something wrong, so any help would be grateful.

HI,

I'm having a similar problem. Created a segment about 3 weeks ago. Cycle the same route ***EVERYDAY*** to and fro from work. Sometimes it finds the segment and sometimes not.....definitely the same route though.....

Guessing this is a bug, as the behaviour is erratic - where should we report it?

Yes, I flagged them as favorites.

Dave I don't think you are doing anything wrong I am experiencing the same problem - I find it disappointing, when you put in the effort to create and ride a segment to find out it has not been picked out by connect. It would be good if Garmin would let everyone know where to report it and what the timeline is for addressing this issue as it seems to be a popular topic in the forums.

I'm having this issue as well. I created a segment that I rode back in 2011 and I see a lot of riders added to the ranks but I don't show up.
I noticed that everyone ranked had ridden in 2014 so I'm wondering if it just ranks riders that rode in the last 12 months eventhough I have selected the time filter as "all" and not the last "12 months".
