Aloha,
The activity auto-upload feature for the modern interface is unreliable. I have several times had to re-install to get it working again. The last time not even a re-install would get it working.
To get around this problem I have to revert back to the classic interface and use the Upload hyperlink there.
Please add an Upload link in the modern interface before considering retiring the classic interface.
