Log-in "loops" on Connect.Garmin.com (log-in issues)

Yesterday afternoon (6/18/2014) I couldn't access connect.garmin.com, because of I couldn't get pass the log-in page. This issue continues today.

When I enter my username and password, the page loops page to the login screen. If I put in an incorrect password it will say incorrect password. Even though the log-in screen is displayed, I noticed the "sign-out" link in the top right, which I assume it means I've logged in at some level. If I hit "Dashboard" I get this error: "Error - Sorry, but it appears that an error occurred." I've get this issue on three different computers and I've cleared-out my browser cache.

I've reset my password, but that doesn't work either -- since I've reset my password, I can't use the garmin connect app on my android phone. I get an error, "A problem occurred while attempting to sign into Garmin Connect [OK]"

I've submitted a request to Garmin Support, but they say it will take 3 business days to respond.

Any Ideas?

Well they said a status update in a couple of weeks ... but that they'd get it resolved as soon as possible. It's clearly not universal as I can log onto both Modern and Classic ...

While I'm sure all those of of us who currently have no access to our activities are pleased that it's not affecting you, it would be nice if after more than a week, Garmin could give us a little more than an apathetic "we might fix it at some point".

    :-(

    >>> Went to the Help Page :-
    http://connect.garmin.com/en-US/help
    >>> Then Selected the Garmin Connect Forum :-
    https://forums.garmin.com/forumdisplay.php?30-Garmin-Connect
    >>> Clicked the Log in In the top Rignt [Username:Password] - Then I have Log Out option in top right
    New TAB in the Browser
    http://connect.garmin.com/modern/
    >>> [Username/Password} - and I'm into modern to view my activities

    Hope this helps

Are the people this is affecting using an SSO service such as Google, Facebook, etc? For instance a coworker that logs in with his standard Garmin account can login fine, but I can't using Google credentials.

This problem is independent of the way you try to log on. Orginally I used a standard Garmin account with GC. First, after running into this problem, I made some tries and connected my MS account to the Garmin account. Both doesn't work at the moment...

Now, when I try to login and get the login loop problem, this is the message I get when I click on "Dashboard" ....."Due to increased popularity, the segment feature is currently down so we can increase capacity. We are sorry for the inconvenience" and the usual, "Error. Sorry, but it appears that an error occurred".
