Log-in "loops" on Connect.Garmin.com (log-in issues)

Yesterday afternoon (6/18/2014) I couldn't access connect.garmin.com, because of I couldn't get pass the log-in page. This issue continues today.

When I enter my username and password, the page loops page to the login screen. If I put in an incorrect password it will say incorrect password. Even though the log-in screen is displayed, I noticed the "sign-out" link in the top right, which I assume it means I've logged in at some level. If I hit "Dashboard" I get this error: "Error - Sorry, but it appears that an error occurred." I've get this issue on three different computers and I've cleared-out my browser cache.

I've reset my password, but that doesn't work either -- since I've reset my password, I can't use the garmin connect app on my android phone. I get an error, "A problem occurred while attempting to sign into Garmin Connect [OK]"

I've submitted a request to Garmin Support, but they say it will take 3 business days to respond.

Any Ideas?

    I'm suffering from the same problem. I saw the first occurrence of this on the 17th.

    Attempting to login either loops back to the login, or occasionally tells me that an error has occurred.

    I haven't changed my password, so the Garmin Express app is still managing to upload my activities. And the Android app can still access my account and I can see the new activities that I've posted in the past two days.

    So it looks like the garmin connect back end servers are still functional, but front end web servers are currently broken.

    I have the same problem also. It started with me on the 18th and I called Customer Support and the Tech. could not figure it out, so he turned it over to the Engineering Dept. I just started using the new version of Connect a few days before this. I wonder if I had stayed with the old version, if it would still be working.

  • I to am having a similar issue. I can log in but the modern view page is dead and no matter what I click on it does not do anything but remain on the blue page. No data, no working links, no way to get to the old view. Just a dead page.

    I am having similar issue on new computer (win 8.1 explorer 11), but can still access garmin connect on old computer (win 7 explorer 11).

    Having this issue as well on both OSX 10.9 and Windows 8.1 with Chrome, IE, and Safari. Same results on an iPad with Safari and Chrome as well. I'm using "sign in with Google" not traditional login.

    Same issue here. I'm looking for an alternative with a little better support.

    I called Tech. Support again first thing this mourning about this problem. When I asked the Tech. about the status of the "looping login", she put me on hold for a couple of minutes then came back to just tell me that they would "get back with me" and asked me to confirm my email address.
    This problem appears to have been going on for some time for some people.
    I plan on calling Garmin Support every day.
