Galloway statistics

It would be pretty cool if a feature could be added to let people who run Galloway style know what their various average stats are during the run portion of their training. for example, my average Cadence on a recent run was 159; however, that is distorted by the slow cadence that I have during my walk breaks. This means that I can't really tell if I am running with optimum cadence. The same is true of the other statistics. It seems that connect could upload the run/walk alert data and use that to compile this more accurate information. Any thoughts?

This may not be a satisfying answer, but I count my steps. I determined I take approximately 165 steps per minute. So if I want to do a 2 min/30 sec run/walk ratio, I count steps (by 10) to around 33, or 330. It keeps me from glancing at my watch for time, except during my walk intervals.

But, yeah, it would be nice if the Garmin device could keep track accurately.
