Reports - Please Show all Activities

I've just switched to the modern Garmin Connect dashboard and really like it but I would like to see all of my activities in the Report widget to show the true weekly stats. Currently the only activities showing are cycling, walking and running. I also do a lot of hiking (which is different to walking!) it would be great if you could customise this to your own sports.
  • In case you didn't know, you can kinda get what you are looking for, just not in a widget. If you go to the reports page and select Activity Distribution and This Week you will get a table with your activity types and the summaries. Not the same as a widget, but it is something.

Would Like to See All Activities in Reports

I would also like to see my Strength Training show up in reports. How is that possible?
  • The same way. If you follow the above instructions, it will show a row for every activity type that occurred during the selected time period.

I have this same problem. Would be nice if the platform were more sport agnostic. After all, Garmin can't possibly care what exactly I'm doing while recording data with their equipment. In the end they get GPS and HR data and there are only so many things you can do with that info. Shouldn't matter if I'm doing that on a bike or while wearing snowshoes.

On the contrary; it matters a great deal. There are many important metrics beyond GPS and HR data which can be measured by Garmin devices. Each activity or sport has its own metrics, which are important to participants in that activity. For example: cycling has elevation gain, cadence, power, TSS, IF; running has run cadence, training effect; swimming has stroke and SWOLF; etc.

I totally agree that other activities should be shown in the report widget. I do both outside and indoor activities but mostly the outdoor ones seem to show like running, cycling, walking. I would like my indoor rowing, x-training and other things to be shown as well. I know you can still get a report on these another way but the widget seems pointless if it 'cherry-picks' what it shows. Please show all activities in the little widget, thanks. :)
