I do a ton of hiking, and canoeing, and a decent amount of mountain biking. And I was trying to figure out which unit would allow me to track these activities with a gps handheld unit and tie it into garmin connect. I checked the site and it only mentions cycling or golf units but I find it hard to believe that none of the handhelds support this functionality. Any help in this regard would be very much appreciated especially since I have a big hiking trip coming up in July and would love to have a few hours under my belt with anything newly purchased.
Any Garmin GPS will work with connect. Connect is not really the best to use though as it just takes a whole track. Usually you need to edit. It is possible as well to edit in Basecamp and then open in connect if you like.
