I use two different Forerunner 305 devices with my account. For various reasons I want to be able to identify the activities that occur on each.
With the old Garmin Connect interface I used to sync the device, do a Quick Edit and change the Activity Name before navigating to Activities to see the list.
Now the new Garmin Connect interface is in place and sync is performed by Garmin Express I don't get the opportunity to change the Activity Name straight away. There is a chance that I could sync the second device before the Activity Names are changed at which point I would no longer be able to differentiate the activities from the different devices.
So ... a couple of ideas ...
1. It would be nice to be able to name the devices in order to differentiate the two. At the moment mine are listed as "Forerunner305" and "Forerunner305 (2)" which isn't helpful. I now have to remember which is which.
2. As 1, and record that device name against the activity automatically. I can then look at the activity detail and know the source.
3. As 1, and record that device name as the Activity Name automatically.
The best solution for me would be 3, but I can't see that suiting everyone. Option 2 is probably more generic.
