I reported this via the support form last night, but felt this needed to be shared on the forum too as last time I submitted a support request I didn't actually receive a response. I'm not sure how, but there is some sort of major security hole with logging into Garmin Connect.
It seems to be related to when you have logged in, and then your session has timed out but you haven't closed the browser window. When you return to Garmin Connect it's logged in as a different user.
I noticed it first on my iMac, and thought it was a temporary glitch. But yesterday I had it on my iPhone and caught some screen grabs.
This is two separate tests I performed. You can see it is two completely different users, neither of which is my account!
Whilst in these accounts, I had full edit privileges and could have caused all sorts of mayhem had I been inclined to. My concern is that someone may have had access to my account.
This is obviously a MAJOR concern! How on EARTH can someone have logged in access to someone else's account without having entered their username and password? And how exactly can I escalate this?
