I apologise if the answer is obvious, but I have searched.
Given that Garmin are now making use of openstreetmaps for their cycle computers and there seems to be a general consensus that it is important to use the same map on the cycle computer as the route planning software, does anyone know the frequency with which Garmin update the OSM map in connect?
Although the master OSM map is continuously updated and derivations such as openfietsmap are updated, I have not see an update to the version of OSM used on garmin connect.
As one of the major strengths of OSM (especially for cycling), is the constant updates, it seems obvious to me that users of garmin products that make use of OSM data will be updating their maps regularly. Presumably Garmin will do the same for the data set they use on garmin connect - my question is, does anyone know how often they do this?
