I have recently purchased an Edge 705 and used it for the first time on Sunday for what turned out to be my longest ride so far! Obviously eager to get the stats uploaded onto Garmin Connect however I'm getting the error message saying there is a problem with communicating with the Garmin Servers...
I tried uploading the results directly in connect and the device file for the ride is not being recognised. This is the same on Strava. Other activity is uploading fine so I think this is an issue with the TCX file itself.
The device is on version 3.30.
The only issue I can think of is that after approx. 6hrs riding the Edge switched itself off! Loads of battery power left. I was able to turn it back on and it seemed to pick up where it left off but I'm wondering if this is the possible cause of any corruption?
