Summary of all the issues with reports on Garmin Connect

The second largest pool in the world is that length. Are you swimming in the Orthlieb Pool? If not, where on Earth did you find a lap pool that is longer than a football field is long? Is it indoors? Does it have lane lines?

If it doesn't have lane lines and it is outdoors, I'd say you're swimming in a man-made lake (you have to draw the line somewhere) so open water swim mode is actually appropriate. The software already asks you if you are swimming in an Indoor Pool or Open Water, so Garmin may be in the right here.

I am looking through the issue you have posted and will make sure the appropriate teams are aware of it. Since we are in the investigation phase we cannot provide a timeframe of when this issue will be fixed. More details to come as we learn more.

Just wanted to let everyone know I reported the problem using this form and although I haven't heard back from support yet, the problem was magically fixed on my end yesterday!

Click "Category" -> "Desktop and Web Applications" -> "Garmin Connect" -> "Garmin Connect Troubleshooting".

Please report as closely as possible what were you doing, what didn't work as you expected and what was that you did expect. Hopefully this will wake them up.

The 'modern' version of GC hasn't worked for me for around two/three weeks or so. I've tried on multiple PC's both at home & work and with different browsers but all I ever see is this page after I log in.



If I access the old verison (via http://connect.garmin.com/dashboard) then everything works as normal for me using the previous version. The new one worked ok for a while but no more. Not sure if this is covered in the list of issues earlier or not?

I've just opened a case with Garmin Support so will wait a few days to hear back.

And of course crazy elevation graphs showed up in some of my old records which were fine before but that's a well known issue it appears.

In a way I'm glad to hear it's not just me experiencing this problem.

Saw the fix on another thread, it's because I'm using the Disconnect plugin for both Chrome & Firefox, whitelisting the GC site allows it to load.

The Reports feature is horrible. Can't do custom dates. Can't look at "this year". Doesn't sum up the total miles, just useless bar graphs.

WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS WRONG WITH THE OLD ONE!!!!!!!!!
