I cannot find my vo2 max on the modern version of garmin connect!

Apparently if you are using a Garmin device that supports the VO2 prediction stuff, the reports widget/page has an entry for displaying the most recent estimate.

Look under 'reports'. It is one of the options there

Add a new report and switch it to VO2max
