I am very unhappy with the Garmin Express and I will try to avoid using it in the future. On the eve of a 300 km endurance event I wanted to export a course to my new and recently updated Garmin Edge 510. this was only possible after updating The Garmin Express as well as the Garmin Edge software. That cost me an hourr of my precious sleep, and erased totally the settings of the edge 510 - which had taken several hours to create. I did not have time to restore the settings and did not manage to make the heart rate and the power registration work - due to the rather complicated setting procedure of the Edge 510.
I think I should have had the option to reject and postpone the update of the Garmin Express as well as the Edge 510 software, since both had recently been updated. Further more the Garmin Express failed repeatedly to recognize my Garmin device. Very very frustrating.
Further more although the traditional Garmin connect was a mediocre software - the new one is not as good - or should I say worse.
