Disable my Garmin

Hi, I sold my garmin watch and want to disable/unregister my name, or cancel my name attached to the watch. Can someone tell me how I can do it so the new person can use garmin connect and register her name.

Login to my.garmin.com. Click View Your Registered Products. Locate the device in question, and click the Remove link.

That is all it takes to unregister a device on My Garmin? Will the next owner not have any sort of problem when trying to register the device on his/her own name?
