Problems with personal records on Garmin Connect

Hi there,

Having trouble with editing which personal records are displayed - currently I can't change them at all. When clicking 'customise list' nothing happens when I check or uncheck the records. It's meaning I can't see my 5k stats but can see 1k and 1 mile which I'm not really interested in.

When looking on the mobile app for some reason the display shows 1k 3 times and 1 mile twice (as well as the 10k, half and full marathon and longerst run).

Is this a common problem and can it be fixed?

    Same problem here. Any word from Garmin on a fix?

    This may not be related: I bettered by 10K PB this morning, as can be seen on the 'Cumulative Time' in the 'Splits' of the run, but the 'Personal Record' for 10K still shows the old time. Is there any way I can force the update to happen?

    Sure. You can manually specify the record.

    • Open up the activity details page.
    • Click the gear icon near the top-right corner.
    • Click Set as PR.
    • Choose the personal record you want to set from the dropdown box.
    • Click Assign PR.
    • Click the three horizontal bars icon near the top-left of the page.
    • Click the words Personal Records to go to the personal records page.
    • Click the pencil next to the time for the PR you just set.
    • Edit the time.
    • Click the blue check mark icon to save.

    Same issue after adding 1k and 1mile i can no long remove them. Tried to add remove marathon, 10k and 5k. Now only 1k,1mile,half marathon are visible. Wont let me select them to change.

    Same problem for me. I'm not able to display 5k and 10k personal records. On my FR15 however, I can see my 5k and 10k personal record recorded with that device.

    I have the same problem. Have tried alle available browsers on the market. cannot choose 5k or 1k records.

    I am glad to say issue is resolved after maintenance today. At least for me i was able to add them back.

    Thank you Travis - that worked for me. If that's the only way to edit PRs then Garmin might want to consider introducing something a little less convoluted, but at least it seems to get the job done. I'm obviously not the only one who sometimes forgets to stop their device after a run.

    Thank you so much! I was so frustrated at not being able to update a nearly 3 minute 10k PR. Happy runner! ;)
