Garmin 62stc volume adjustment?

Just purchased this unit and the volume is very weak. Anyway to bump it up?

Also, purchased a 16 gb micro sd card but other than send pictures to it I have no idea how to send waypoints, geocache databases or anything else. Can someone point me in the right direction to maximize this feature?
