Vivofit Wrist Rash

I've had my Vivofit now for a couple months, off and on I've noticed my wrist itching where the device rests. A couple days ago, after wearing the device during the day, I took the Vivofit off only to find a red mark on the top of my wrist. It was about 1 inch long and 1/2 inch wide, very red, burned, and itched. Anyone else having this issue? It seems similar to the issues of the Fitbit?
  • I started to wear my vivofit yesterday, and during the night I woke up and felt that my wrist was itching. This morning I noticed some small itching dots at the inside on my wrist and it was not comfortable to wear the band. Not a good start at all.
  • zero problems with mine and I've had it since release.

I have had my Vivofit for 2 months now and this morning I woke up with a rash on my arm where it sits. I removed it and the rash is disappearing. Funny thing is I had a Fitbit Force and wasn't getting a rash but figured I would replace it just in case and now I am getting a rash with the Vivofit!
  • I have worn mine continually for 3 months with no problem.
  • I have worn my vivofit since I got it (several months now). A few days ago, I noticed that my wrist hurt. I took the vivofit off and found that my wrist is swollen and I also have a rash like irritation (red bumps).
  • I have worn the Vivofit 24/7 since mid Sept 2014 and do not have a rash yet.

I have the same rash. Wore it for about a month with no problem, now I needed to take it off.
  • I bet all these rashes are probably caused by an allergy to the material (probably latex/rubber allergy), as that's what they look like. Fitbit is having a recall for this exact reason.

I'd go see a doctor if the symptoms persist. Your GP will probably refer you to an allergist that can determine if this is the case.

Same. I wear it pretty loose. The only time it comes off is when I switch it for my 910xt or 620 when running or very occasionally my garmin swim when swimming...
  • I have had mine since June of 2014 wore it no problems until October. I started to have an itch I would take off during showers. This did not help. I got a rash looked more like burn marks red swollen marks under the Vivofit and on side of wrist as well. It almost looks like something leaking from the device. However I see nothing coming from the device. I switched wrists and now this one is starting to itch. Now I donot wear at night. I find this very interesting Is Garmin saying anything about this. I love the product and was looking at Swim and Vivo Smart, will not move forward with that if they are not stepping up and looking at this problem.
