I cant seem to find how to simply calculate my total mileage say for running or biking. The individual workout distances are there but not cumulative. I don't want to manually add them to get my workout distance total. P

  • You want to look at the reports page. If you are using modern, click the three horizontal bars on the left edge of the screen. Click the word Reports on the slide-out menu, then click Progress Summary from the bottom-left of the page.

If you want a dashboard widget for this information, load up the dashboard you want to modify, click the three horizontal bars, click the > symbol next to the word Reports on the slide out, then click 'Add to dashboard'. Once you have the widget in place, pick 'Total Distance' as the Report type and click Save. You can click the little gear icon to modify the number of days that the report covers.

Thank you very much. very useful. Surprised it is not more self evident to find
this info/would be one of the most requested things I would imagine. Why hide it? . I am also surprised that it wont let you customize what time frame you are most interested in .... say for instance running miles this year?

    Cululative mileage

And now with the latest update there are no more bars to click. I would like to set custom date ranges and see CUMULATIVE miles for that range. Having to add them manually to get YTD seems pretty ludicrous in this day and age.
  • Use Gear to get total distances

Another way get these numbers is using Gear.

If you add the appropriate piece of gear to each activity, e.g bike, running shoes, sensors, tyres, anything else you want, you can track individual distance. So you could work out when to change your tyres, oil your chain etc. GC will let you add any number of pieces of gear by default to activities of a small number of different categories.
