Garmin Express Sync Issues

I am having issues syncing my 910 with Garmin express. When I attempt the sync Garmin Express states that there are 209 activities to sync and then proceeds to try and download each Sync File from garmin connect. It then attempts & fails to download each file which results in an error. When it has run through all 209 items an error message appears stating that garmin express was not able sync with connect The activities remain in garmin express and when I try and sync again it goes through the exact same process. There is only one new activity on my watch.

I had the sync working previously, as recently as yesterday, and haven't changed any settings so no idea why this has happened.

Anyone else getting a similar error? Is there a way to clear the 209 items it is trying to sync so it only looks at the most recent activity? I can't find a way to clear the cache (or similar.)

Also, when i try to view the error on garmin express the view errors button does nothing?
  • You should be able to use the History menu on your 910 to delete old or individual activities. Assuming that the problem is coming up when trying to download the activities from the device, that should help. Otherwise you might have to locate the .fit files on your PC and delete some of those.
