Can I merge 2 Garmin connect accounts?

Hello,

I have 2 Garmin Connect accounts - can I somehow merge the data into one account? The export function only works to create .csv files which cannot be imported

Many thanks
Nina
• Some of us have no choice over owning 2 accounts.

I had a Garmin Connect account for years and then suddenly part of their database was corrupted and my account became unusable. After months of chivvying them Garmin advised that I set up a new account. Today I checked the old account out of idle curiosity and there suddenly are all my 'lost' files. I'd like to merge them with the new account so everything is in one place. I'll try strava as to be honest anything is better than nothing.
• Save a copy of your activities from your device/devices to your computer, and you'll never have to worry about Garmin or any other site getting your history messed up. You'll always have that data to re-upload or send if data on them later get's messed up, lost or you later choose to change fitness sites.
• It looks like Garmin now provides a method to download the original data (.fit file) for your activities, so it should be pretty easy to get that data if you wanted it. Once you have the data, I'm not sure how easy it would be to upload them to the new account in an automated fashion.

If this is something you'd like, I'd be happy to script it up.
• Same problem, urgent!

I have the same problem: I had an account with my Garmin biking computer and my Garmin 910XT on my e-mail address [email protected], but created one in preparation for my (supperb!) Garmin Fenix 3.

The system sometimes seemed to update the account [email protected], but then also took the new activities with it, again with 4 personal records.

So now login in on [email protected] can not longer import the same activities neither personal records.

I can only see it, when joining the two accounts in the menu 'Connections', but cannot import it into the activities.

How could I erase everything? Can you change something in the map accessing the watch via USB (only 32 MB memory watch for data??)

• Any news on merging two garmin accounts?

Any news on merging two garmin accounts? i have the same problem :(
• The only thing I know of is to export the activities out of one one account and import into the other. It may have to be one activity at a time. Someone might have a shortcut procedure to doing it but I don't recall seeing one.
• I agree. The best way of not having a problem is avoiding it in the first place.

• No it was not resolved.
However, the person that unhelpfully tried to suggest not having two account in the first place (like it was a helpful remedy) tried to get me blocked because I said it was not particularly ingenious.  Fortunately Garmin saw the better of this and kept me onside.
like others have stated above, there are times when it is not possible to end up with two accounts.
I would love to resolve this because my Garmin watch syncs to one account while my phone syncs to another. I just want everything in one place.
of someone can offer genuine advice it would be appreciated.
• It is typically due to logging in with different accounts on Garmin Connect Web, Garmin Express, and on the app, as mentioned here - Steps to Get Your Device Syncing to the Correct Account. On the same page is information regarding Steps to Move Activities From One Garmin Connect Account to Another

However, if this is not a possibility. I think it would be best for you to contact Garmin Product Support directly. They should be able to look at the device sync audit logs to determine how this is occurring and how to remedy the situation.
