I use my work computer to upload my runs from my FR10. I can't download the garmin express software onto to my work computer. The upload button is still on my dashboard but when I click on it, it takes me to the screen to download garmin express. Please advise on how I will be able to upload my runs now.
Same problem with my 110. Worked fine for 2 years, now Garmin thinks it's a 410 and says it's not supported... I haven't changed anything. What's up Garmin??
Same here. Hope they fix this soon. Garmin Express install errors seems to be a common problem... It would be nice if garmin would look into this issue also! grrr. :|
PLEASE fix this. Why do you have to mess with something that works fine. I'm wasting a lot of time trying to find a way to upload my runs. Something that used to require one simple click on the upload button.
this is really frustrating…had garmin 110 for over 2 years and for the first time this evening, upload button is not working and unable to save data…please garmin sort this issue out asap….
I am on a network that requires using a web proxy. Garmin Express doesn't support this. Even if it did, I change networks too often for that to be convenient.
So, right now, I CANNOT UPLOAD ANYTHING TO GARMIN AND THERE IS NO ACTUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Since buying a $400 GPS/watch did not entitle me to response from support, I don't expect the free web service to care either.
But in the off chance that paying customers matter, it would be really nice if the web uploader were brought back.
Only Connect doesn't let me use the web uploader. Strava, Endomondo, runkeeper, mapmyride, trainingpeaks, etc all allow me to use the web uploader.
Same issue with my Edge 800. As Garmin must be aware of the issue, and already have all our email addresses, why haven't they contacted anyone to confirm they're working on it, give an estimate of when the problem will be solved, and even offer some kind of token apology.
Easy. Or should be.
But Garmin can't be @rsed - the company's attitude to customer service stinks.
Having just wasted 90 minutes trying (unsuccessfully) to resolve this myself, I'm hacked off by Garmin. I hope the 1000 bombs...so there.
Yup, me too. I have an Edge 800 and the upload button's "not working" (and hasn't been for the past 90 minutes). I don't want to install Garmin Express as it caused all sorts of grief on my computer before. It is a bit annoying to say the least... Fingers crossed someone, somewhere figures it out and fixes it!
Same here with an 800 - worked last week and now nothing. Uploading using Garmin connect takes you to a download Garmin Express page. I download the software (for Mac), add the device and it sees it OK, but then the sync fails. if you click on more details, it says Sync failed - please retry. Brilliant. Tried a few times then got bored. I guess its OK to push people onto Garmin Express, but why can't it be tested first?
