Split time comparisons not working

Split time comparisons do not work anymore on activities recorded on my Garmin Edge 500. This is pretty frustrating and it seems that it is a known issue. can anyone confirm when Garmin will fix this issue ?
I'd like to know too, just wanted to compare this years Manchester 10K splits with last years. No can do anymore, this seems to have started with their software update of a couple of months ago.
