Modern: Send to Device: Training Zones to Multiple Devices

First, thanks for the help in the forum posts for helping me figure out how to get the Connect Modern app to see both of my Garmin devices when they are plugged into my MBP.

Issue: on the User/Settings/Training page, the "send to device" button does bring up a list box that allows one to select the device to receive the updated zone values; however, only my Edge 800 device is visible.

Configuration:
1. 1st device in Garmin Express is an Edge 800
2. 2nd device in Garmin Express is a Fenix 2
3. Devices are connected to the computer via USB
4. Computer is a MacBookPro10,1
5. Confirmed that connectivity with Garmin Connect by syncing both devices for activities
6. Garmin Express version is 3.2.5.0
7. Browser is Google Chrome (because Safari does not appear to work - this is known problem)

Guess: Looks like a simple list box problem?
  • I have a 910XT and a 610. I'm using Chrome and I see entries for both devices in the list box when trying to use the Send to Device functionality from the Training Zones page.
  • Thanks, Travis - that might make it a more interesting problem than I first thought. The issue is still occurring for my devices.

    New information:
    1. Attempted (just for fun) adding re-adding both devices in the order of Fenix 2 first then the Edge 800 to Garmin Express (GE). In GE, the devices appear to sort alphabetically.
    2. Safari started working for me yesterday? So, I attempted the test in Safari (Version 7.0.4 (9537.76.4)), Firefox (29.0.1) and Chrome (35.0.1916.114 upgrade from original 05-17-2014 post). No change in results - drop box only shows the Edge 800
  • I haven't had luck with sending any training zone data to my Fenix 2. Even when I would get it to show up, it would fail at sending. With the "modern" layout in garmin connect, the Fenix 2 never shows up now.
