Hi - I have have had a problem with my Garmin Forerunner 220 today, it hasn't picked up the correct route and is not showing the rights distances. I bought this last week and it has worked fine the last 3 runs - it seems quite odd
Not sure how used you are to GPS devices but you need to be sure that they are fully locked on to satellites before starting run - if you don't then they often struggle to recover as you start moving. Not sure if it's an option on the 220 (I have a 610) but I display GPS accuracy and wait until it shows below 20ft before I start my run - that normally occurs about 30 seconds after the watch says it has acquired satellites
