Oregon 550 Locating Satellites Problem

Two weeks ago my Oregon 550 started having difficulty locating satellites. Also, the signal level of the satellites it finds is low. I have reset the device and kept it outside for 30 minutes without moving. I have also reloaded the firmware. I am still having the problem. Any ideas?
