It is very sad to see the lack of Garmin Connect functionality from time to time.
One CRITICAL feature that should be very easy to implement but has been overlooked is the ability to use the Description field in the Activity Search.
When you are searching, you can filter on: Activity Type, Event Type, Course, Time Period, Distance, Time and even Elevation Gain, but something as critical as your event Description is simply not there.
Being one of the only fields that are free-form, description allows you to enter any information that does not bode well in any of the other fields. I use that to describe things that are related to my training and I have seen people using it for things such as the shoes they wore, the layers of clothing (appropriate for that temperature) or the food they had prior to the run.
It is very important to be able to search based on that field and I don't think implementing that feature should be very complicated. Having said that Garmin had Connect online for many years and that filtering is just not possible.
Please consider adding it.
