When will elevation be fixed?

Curious to know if there's an updated as to when elevation on activities will be fixed?

I have a Garmin 610 and ever since the elevation services have been turned off none of my activities are reporting/showing the correct elevation changes, regardless of the elevation correction setting. Many of my activities are 100's of meters off and the elevation profile in the graph are completely wrong. I know this because these are staple runs that I do on a regular basis and have data from before.

Since lots of vertical training is a big part of my regime it's very frustrating to be getting wildly incorrect data. An update from a Garmin rep would be very appreciated.
  • I am new Garmin (620) user and I have same problem. No elevation data in Garmin Connect. If I upload data to Strava it shows elevation (it exists in file) so it's bug with Garmin Connect.

I have Fenix 2 that records elevation with barometer and even that is not shown and this has been out for a month now.
  • I have an Edge 510 and it is now fixed. GC says elevation correction enabled, but it isn't - it is showing the 510 barometer and is accurate.
  • It is definitely not fixed yet. Every activity I upload has an incorrect elevation graph and data on the elevation.
  • Sorry, meant fixed for me. Obviously not for all.

I am using the 910XT and over the past two weeks elevations are reporting incorrectly. I did a cycle yesterday and for the whole trip the elevation was 22,614FT. and I burned 21,000 calories.

The issue seems to be with the device as opposed to Garmin Connect as my device displays that I burned over 21,000 calories.

I have the 910XT and am having this issue for a second time with a replaced device. I live in San Diego area and it is saying I'm at 65,000 feet! The last time, support replaced the device after they determined that the barometric altimeter was not working right. I think I'll be calling in again...

I too have the 910xt and the elevation problem showed after the switch to garmin connect modern view. It was working correctly for the older traditional view.
