For the past week or so the system tells me Communicator is not installed, it has been for a few years now and regularly updated. Trying to install the latest Communicator Ver 4.1.0 with file No 3.0.0.0 goes through all the steps but never achieves a successful install - message always the same "Garmin Communicator not found on your PC". Routines have included all known ways including running whilst NOT on the web and installing from RUN. Clicking links on the Garmin Page lead to a failed page which will not load.
Are you using a new version of Internet Explorer or did it update recently? I've had issues with I.E. and Garmin Communicator long ago. They seemed to have to do with security settings. I gave up on I.E. and have little to no issues using Firefox, Chrome or Safari browsers with Garmin Communicator.
