My Garmin 810 is assigning the wrong date and time to my ride

What's more, there is no way to change the date or time to the correct time. Hopefully updating software will help. Any suggestions?
  • I've done a little reading and everything seems to indicate that a factory reset will resolve the problem. Upload all of your activity data, backup your settings, factory reset and optionally a restore. Garmin support documents how to backup and restore the settings for an 810 here.
