I'm trying to plot a route on the route planner and it sends me down a canal path etc. I have a road bike and I guess there must be a setting somewhere to let the system know that - but I can't find it! Any help is appreciated - Thanks
I've fallen foul of this many times, even though I tick the "Stick to Roads" tick box, the route planner on Garmin Connect seems to see cycle paths as roads even if they are not paved. I've resorted to checking the routes very carefully before setting off, but still find that I get directed down "roads" that are unsurfaced farms tracks and the like.
