My GARMIN 310XT does not show under devices on Modern view

My GARMIN 310XT does not show under devices on Modern view, I have downloaded and reinstalled both Garmin Connect and ANT AGENT - every time I go to devices it says that i need to download Garmin connect.

    Just wanted to say that I experience the same problm even when I've switched to the new Garmin Express (instead of Connect/Ant agent). If it helps with troubleshooting I'm using Win7 and according to Garmin Express my device is up to date with version 4.50.
  • If you're using Garmin Express, you should fully uninstall the ANT Agent and Communicator Plugin. In addition, you should delete/rename the old Garmin folder in your {{%userprofile%\AppData}} folder. Once you do this, try pairing your device (you need to enable pairing in the device and then try to add a new device in the Garmin Express software).

  • Also, make sure that you are using Garmin Express version 3.1.9 or greater (3.1.9 is current as of this post) as it contains a specific fix for the 310XT which can occasionally work its way into a weird state preventing successfully pairing.
