Right now this isn't an apples-to-apples comparison. You're comparing an actual apple (classic Garmin Connect) to an apple bud (modern Garmin Connect). You have to let it mature before you complain that the taste isn't as good.
I would *really* like to see the ability to filter activities by sport in an individual widget or tab, or create custom reports. Also, the ability to resize the components would be a great feature. The "Mini View" is not really helpful. Hopefully the face lift means that Garmin plans on putting a little more effort into Garmin Connect moving forward, though.
