Now there is a very good chance I'm being stupid, so apologies if I am! :)

I created a segment 12 days ago, it is still stating "The leaderboard is still being created for this segment. Please check back later". Is this normal, and of so how long does it normally take please?

I'll join in with this one... How long does it take to build a leaderboard? This one has been several days now:

"Any help please Garmin?" Oh the optimism! Segments don't work. They should never have been released in this state and Garmin should be doing more to manage the situation. They work just fine on Strava, which works really well all round in fact.

Garmin has given me endless grief with the move from Ant+ to Express, broken the Communicator plugin in the process to make it harder for me to use other sites (like Strava which works REALLY WELL), had a map search facility that NEVER worked and has now replaced that with their ridiculous half assed attempt at a copy of a feature Strava does with flair and aplomb.

Totally agree. Garmin should give up trying to compete with Strava and start working with them.

It would be good to see someone from Garmin taking these concerns seriously.

I don't believe anyone from Garmin monitors the Connect forums regularly, although some pop in from time to time, whereas some of the forums here have heavy Garmin contribution, eg Basecamp and Express. If you have real issues contact Product Support or make your ideas known at http://www8.garmin.com/contactUs/ideas/ otherwise you have to be patient.

I know its probably not your fault, but could you or someone from the Tech team make an announcement on the forum about this? with an estimated time to completion of the fix?
Might save numerous questions all about the same thing.

Is a fix going to address the problems with previously created segments? Or is the fix just going to work for new segments?

I am having the same issues... Very frustrating. I have created 9 segments and only two show the leaderboard. Other 7 newly created segments are waiting on leaderboard to be made.
