New Activity Won't Upload to GC - Edge 510/3.0/Classic or Modern View

I've updated the firmware for my Edge 510 to 3.0 when it was released and have successfully sync'ed prior to the release of the new "modern" Garmin Connect. Now that the modern view has been released and I am using the Garmin Express to sync, my latest activity is not loading to Garmin Connect.

I've tried Classic View/Upload and Manual Upload. The Upload process detects that there is a new file, but it never uploads it. Manual uploads also don't work.

When sync'ing using the Garmin Express/modern view, it does not recognize that there is an Activity to upload. It lists the device as up-to-date with no sync needed.

Any thoughts?

    I am having the same issue. Just after I switch to "modern."
  • If you do a manual upload, it is probably displaying an error telling you that the upload failed. If so, this is why the automatic uploads aren't working. This often happens when you've got a corrupt activity file. Depending on the type of file used by your device, you might be able to repair it using the right software. Once the file is fixed, you should be able to upload it without trouble.

    I don't know what the right software would be. Is there a way I can reset things? I'm willing to wipe old data - I just can't sync anything new now.

    Just someone else having the same problem, latest activity is not uploading with sync and with classic view I get the spinning wheel like we did a few months ago in Western Australia seems to be a GC problem
