Cadence and heart rate monitor stopped working!

While riding this morning, I started off with everything working fine, but after the first stop at a light, the cadence and heart rate monitor part of the display went blank. Meaning there was not readings.
I stopped a couple times to try and adjust the magnets for cadence, but nothing. It's strange cause the speed and distance still worked fine. I check my heart rate chest strap and it was also fine.
So..... what's wrong

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
  • I've got no idea why you're having trouble with your sensors, but speed and distance can be calculated with GPS. Unless you had disabled GPS, I'd expect to see speed and distance data with or without a speed/cadence sensor.

  • Interestingly (or not depending on your point of view) I had a similar problem 2 days ago with my Forerunner 610. I started the watch as normal - it had already acquired satellites etc but it only started recording distance after about 1/4 mile and the HR reading was all over the place - cadence recorded right from the start as did time but the 610 made no attempt to calculate distance using the footpod so not sure what was going on. This seems to have been a one-off and hopefully your issue will be too
  • My 945 LTE has the same problem!! I tried to rest the watch. No changes. Still doesn’t work.

  • Have you checked the battery in the chest strap?
