Garmin Connect is not uploading Elevation Gain correctly from my Garmin 810. I check the Elevation Gain on my 810 at the end of a ride then when I upload to Garmin Connect it is greatly exaggerated (from 500 to 1500 ft. more) I have Elevation Corrections disabled. Strava gets the information correct. It is the same as the Elevation Gain I show on my Garmin at the end of the ride. For some reason Garmin Connect chooses to give me kudos I don't deserve.:confused:
That is odd. I am seeing just the exact opposit with my edge 510. At the end of a ride (on the device) the elev gain is about 25% greater then when I download the data in GC. For example my edge510 might say I had 1000' of gain, but when I download into GC it will say about 750' of gain. All other parameters are in agreement between device and GC.
