how do I delete a segment of a course in garmin connect

In putting a course into garmin connect, I inserted a segment in a long course that I'd like to delete. there doesn't seem to be an obvious (or not so obvious) way to do that. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you go into the segment to where you see the full table, in the top right hand corner is a cog icon. Clicking on that gives me edit or delete.

Now if only i can work out how to show my results in the…
