why is Garmin Connect not using all space available in my webbrowser?

I would love to see Garmin Connect making use of all the space available. Now I have 2 big white coloms left en right. (using firefox or safari on a Imac)

I'm not sure what you're looking at, but the activity view (and many others) have always had content only in the middle half of the screen.

I don't have access to most of the rest of the modern view, but I'm not expecting it to be any different.
