Cannot enter text into Description box

Edge 500. Manual upload of data. View activity - Quick Edit. After text is entered into the "Description" text box and the "Finish" button is selected, a pop-up window with "Forbidden" appears. Once the pop-up is acknowledged, the text just entered is discarded (ie, not displayed). Anyone else having this problem?
