Sharing to social sites: FB

Is there a reason Garmin hasn't come up with a better sharing mode than to post a bare link to FB? RunKeeper post a beautiful, rich container with meta data about an activity, etc. Maybe I'm using the wrong share link... Or is this simply a feature request?

Thanks
Rich
  • Totally agree. If I share from my iPhone it only puts a link, my friends have to go into the link to even see how far I've run. When I get home and share from my iPad they do get distance and time but it's not exactly state of art. Other than that I am loving my new Garmin. Just adding a bit of colour and updating in some way would help. The simple link from the iPhone is appaling though and I don't use it. I don't want my friends to have to go to a link every time, it feels like I am wasting their time.
  • +1 :)

  • Each activity has a Share button. That seems better than you posting a link. Even if you manually post a link, a summary of your workout data appears with that link. For example, when I put a link into my status, I see

While this doesn't display a super fancy map of the activity and a plot of your heart rate over time, it is better than what you guys are describing it as.
