Hi,
I have an Garmin Edge 510 with firmware 2.90.0.0 and I think you have a BIG BIG problem with Elevation Corrections and I think the problem is not only mine and for the Edge 510!
As you can see in the screenshot attached after uploading my activity the "Elevation Corrections" is set automatic to "Enabled" But it should be set by default to "Disabled" because the Edge 510 has an "Barometric Elevation Sensor".
I noticed this problem only now but I think the problem is some months old! Not for any activation after uploading the elevation correction is set by default "Enabled" but for nearly any (8 of 10 or something like that)
When I click manual to "Disabled" the calculated elevation is COMPLETELY false and not that which I can read on my Garmin. If I set it to "Enabled" again the VALUES are different from that before, if I now set it again to "Disabled" the values are also different from before!!! I think this is a very very very big problem! And I think the whole elevation values on my past two or three months are COMPLETELY false.
I do upload my activity's with BLUETOOTH or sometimes MANUAL and sometimes by Windows and Garmin Express. I don't know if the problem depends on how I upload the file.
I attached you also the activity from two day ... so you can try it!
What do you think????
Also I have some other problems like I don't know why but I found a lot of activitys on the ROOT of my garmin and not under the activity folder! I will test the next days when this happens and will than open an other BUG for this and others.
Can you please help me and correct the elevation BUG and CORRECT ME the UPLOADED ACTIVITIES??? Some I correct by HAND setting the elevation reading from my garmin device, but I can do it only for the last about 10 trainings, but I think the bug and so my problem is some months old!
thank you
Michael
