Add Lap Breaks/Splits in the web interface

I may not be looking in the right place (so forgive and please inform me if I am wrong).

However, it would be very nice to be able to modify/add lap breaks in the web interface. Also, trim the data (remove data from the beginning/end of a session). For example:

1) If I was running intervals, but missed pushing the lap button on my watch. I want to add in the split after the fact.
2) I started a run with a walking warm-up and cool down, but left my watch going during these portions. For comparison with other runs, I want to delete the first .5 miles and last .5 miles and then recalculate statistics.

Thanks and keep up the good work. The new web interface will take some getting used to, but it looks great.

I'd also like to see a trim function. There have been a few times I didn't hit the stop correctly at the end of the workout, and it records walking to meetings, sitting at my desk and the train ride home (or at least until the battery runs out). Really throws the stats off when you have 10 miles at 60mph added to a "power walk".

Anyone obtained any direction regarding this yet?
I also would like to delete the final split/section/lap ..... forget to press stop at the exact correct time.
  • 100% agree with both requests:

    • Trim start/end data from the session.
    • Add/delete Lap marks to the session.

This requests have been mentioned in many other Posts in this forum as well, as far as I saw some as old as 2011.

Being requests that seem so easy to implement, I don't understand why Garmin (being the leader) does not make its customers/users happier and listen to them.

    Please go ahead do it!

    Thanks
