echoMAP 50s Wireless communication

Hi

What software (Windows, Android and iOS) do I require to enable wireless communication (file transfer) with my echoMAP 50s? I can join the 'network', but as yet not communicate.

    I downloaded the manual from

    http://static.garmincdn.com/pumac/GPS_echoMAP_5_7_OM_EN.pdf

and on P28 it says the unit connects to a wi-fi network, No special software is thus required. Most computers/tablets (and sometimes phones) have wi-fi support built in.

How many wireless devices can connect to the new echoMAP/GPSMAP products?

Thanks for your prompt replies.. I already had the information in the first post, but from your link in the second post (which I had already read) on rereading discovered I needed Bluechart Mobile on the iPad - it appears that with the Windoze machine I'll still have to move sd cards around! (Hope I don't drop them on the boat!!)

Once again - thanks for your help.
