Please repair this activity file, it stucks to upload on Garmin Connect

Please, could someone help me on repairing the attached file (maybe using Fit File Repair Tool).

I just ran on the beach sand for the first time... If I lose this activity it would be a shame.

Here it is the file:

I read in another post (by @MATHIKRALLI, here) that Garmin Connect is having issues with certain GPS positions. Is there any more information or Garmin official statements? Me and three other friends experienced issues to upload activities occurred this weekend.

Thanks in advance,
Felipe.

    Hello Mspitters,

The Tool opened your file with no warnings and no indication of what might have been corrupt.

So....here ya go. Fixed with the Fit File Repair Tool.

    Hi

Having trouble getting this file uploaded. I saved this morning's activity before starting this evening, finished the evening activity and eventually connected my forerunner 110 to my laptop. This morning's activity is showing on the device, the evening's one hasn't saved and I can't upload either through Express or manually uploading.

    hi Perpetualapathy,

You had a very small amount of corrupted data right at the end of your file. This means the data from your run may be incomplete.

This file contains what I have been able to recover using the Fit File Repair Tool.

    cheers
    Mike

Thanks Mike. I'll have to download the file when I get home as dropbox is blocked at work. Appreciate you going to the effort of fixing it.
  • I am having a problems with a PowerAgent (Cycleops) and Strava .fit files being imported into Garmin Connect - it just fails. As I want to keep Stava and Garmin Connect updated with work outs at a local shop that uses Cycleops, is there a fix other than purchasing the Fit File Repair Tool?

    Hello Zeker,

I could not find any software that would open a FIT file in a way that I could edit it.....none....so the quick answer IMHO is no.

Then I found the Fit File Repair Tool and it will open 10 different file formats into an excel style window with all the data in rows and columns available for editing.

After editing your file you can then save it as any of the other formats or the same format as the original.

FIT, DaumCSV, TCX, PoolmateCSV, HRM(+GPX), SDF, GPX, Polar/SuuntoXML, Tanita(weight data), SuuntoXML.

If you have files from several devices that contain data that you want combined into 1 complete file the FFRT can do it.

This is a great piece of software and well worth the $$ I paid for it.
