Elevation data problems

Hi there!

I have a Forerunner 405, and my last three rides are really messed up with the elevations. So, the 1st ride:

Elevation graph keeps spiking up to 10 000 metres many times. If I hover over it it does show me the actual data though. In stats it just says 0m for elevation. Disabling elevation corrections makes no difference. Strava upload says 269 metres.

Then my second ride uploads successfully but there is no trace of it on garmin connect. On strava it exists.

Finally the third ride from today. Once again the watch seems slow at picking up satellites, keeps saying im at -240m not 10 (been like this just recently). So I go off regardless. The elevation map is similar again with random spikes to about 10 000m. Total elevation gain is 50 000 something, although it drops to 27 398m after maybe 10 minutes and the graph then shows fewer spikes. Strava shows 262m which is about right. This time disabling the elevation correction on garmin gives me 538 metres in the stats. Makes sense as that's with the extra 250 or so. Here's the file as well:

Another weird thing from today: My heart rate monitor was loose so I never put it on, but put it in my bag. I picked up my bag for the final 8 minutes of my ride with the monitor in my bag, the monitor still transmitted data. In the end it even knew I was working harder and going up a hill. How does that happen? Things pressing against it in motion in my bag maybe?

I appreciate whoever took time to read this and maybe help me out.

Many thanks,
Kristmas
