TCX file upload fails in GC but not in Strava

Hi,

I have a 7 Mbytes TCX file (activity of 9,5h recorded by a Garmin Forerunner 910xt) that can not be downloaded by Garmin Connect. I also tried to download it manually but I end up with a message indicating that the activity could not be created.

I looked at the XML content of the file and it looks good. I also successfully uploaded this file in Strava.

Any idea how I could solve that for GC?

Hi,

Garmin Connect is having issues with certain GPS positions at the moment.

If you have the Fit File Repair Tool (http://fitfilerepairtool.info) you can try to import and then export your activity without gps position data and check if this file can be uploaded. If this is the case then you are a "victim" of an issue that Garmin Connect is having with some (!) GPS positions at the moment.
