My Garmin is not showing either but it is showing my OH FR220 which is synced through the new Garmin Express but my 910XT still uploads using the ANT agent. On Garmin Express my account links to the 910xt and the OH to the FR220 but on connect modern it is only showing the FR220.
When I try to update on Garmin Express I get an error saying "Servers busy" but this has been happening now for 2 weeks!
My guess is that if you want your 910XT to show up, you have to add it as a device in Garmin Express. I have 3 910XTs, and all 3 show up in GC modern. Originally, I used Ant Agent to upload from all 3 910XTs, but when Garmin Express came out I stopped using Ant Agent and added the 910XTs to GE. I've never seen a "servers busy" GE message, but GE has occasionally said it was unsable to connect to the servers. This problem has never lasted more than a few minutes.
Same problem here... My girlfriend and I have 2 Forerunners 910XT. We used to sync (and still do) with ANT Agent. I installed the new Garmin Express as prompted. Even if both devices appear in the drop down list, Garmin Express acts as if they were not connected: there's no way to sync or update our devices throughout Garmin Express. In the new Garmin Connect, none of our devices appear and all we see is "You have no device on Garmin Connect. Add a device using Garmin Express." This is exactly the kind of problems that make me seriously reconsider my plans for a Edge1000... W're here to ride, run and swim, not to waste our time fixing bugs!
Today I downloaded Garmin Express on a Windows 8.1 computer, and now it works! :) At home I use my Macbook Air to sync all devices, without luck for the 910XT. But on the Windows machine it works. I got a couple of sync errors but after a while it connected, synced and now I have all my devices including the 910XT in Garmin Connect Modern!
My 910XT is showing up in Garmin Express but it want sync with Garmin Express. It only syncs with Garmin ANT Agent!
You can't have both ANT Agent and Garmin Express running at the same time. Unless you have a really good reason to have ANT Agent, you should uninstall it completely and let Garmin Express do its job. The reason your 910 won't work is because the ANT Agent is preventing Garmin Express from using the ANT+ Stick to communicate with your 910.
If I were you, I'd unplug the ANT+ Stick, uninstall the ANT Agent, then find the ANT Agent folder where it stored your data and rename it. Once you've done that, fire up Garmin Express, make sure that you have an entry for the 910 in the devices dropdown. If you don't, select the option at the bottom of the devices dropdown to add a new device, put your 910 into pairing mode, and pair the device to the Garmin Express software.
