VivoFit skipped a day when syncing

I just got the VivoFit and have been wearing it all week. I noticed today that I have no data in my Connect dashboard for Wednesday. Everything is blank on Wednesday, even though I wore it all day and even went for a run (as well as using it on the Sleep setting at night). Is this a known issue with the VivoFit that it will sometimes skip days? Does it erase or forget data if you don't sync it quickly enough after that event? (i.e. do you need to sync it every single day...can it only remember 1 day's worth of data??)
  • If I'm not mistaken, yes you need to sync the Vivofit daily as it does not store data over 24 hours.

    Oh man, seriously?? So what happens if I'm traveling and don't want to haul around my laptop with me? (I still have the 3GS because it works fine for me, so I don't believe syncing with it is supported, although I haven't had a chance to look into it since I just got the VF on Monday.) This may be problematic. I don't lug around my laptop with me on weekends. Are there any other solutions?
